It's that time of the week again and we've got your Hump Day News! Check out what's new this week and a few updates from last in the world of web series!

  • Venice the Series announced that they are fully funded for their fifth and final season! Be sure to stay tuned and check out their social media accounts for more updates.
     
  • On Monday, June 13th, the Carmilla series took home the Brand Content award at the 2016 Rockie Awards for this year's BANFF World Media Festival. Check out the badass trophy and shoot them over a congratulations tweet!
     
  • While we're on the topic of Carmilla, the series also announced (more like teased) that they are in the process of locking down season 3 production dates! You may all let out the squeals I know you've been holding in.
     
  • IPF announced this Monday the 16 winners to receive funding for their web series.
     
  • A new web series premiered on Monday, Precious Cargo, in which two sisters attempt to tutor the children of Manhattan's 1%'ers. It's hilarious and the series will air new episodes every Monday at 10 AM EST.
     
  • ICYMI, Carmilla shared a BTS interview video with Sharon Belle.
     
  • tello films' Pitch to Production contest is officially open! So if you or someone you know is looking to share a web series in the LGBTQ space, head on over and submit your concept!
     
  • Today, three of the All For One sweethearts will be hosting a live Q&A over at Cherrydale Productions' YouTube channel at 4:30 PM EST! Tune in to get your Dornie and Dorlex fix in!
     
  • This Saturday, June 18th, you can check out the brand new season of That's My DJ a web series bringing you an in-depth look of the new age of rave.

  • On a final note, our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends who have been affected by the events that took place last weekend in Orlando. We stand with the LGBTQ community and remember that even in the darkest days, the sun will still rise.
