It's Complicated Announces Season 2

It's Complicated left a huge impression on audiences this past summer after the debut of their first season. Garnering a nomination this past November for NYC WebFest's first ever Audience Choice Award and receiving an Award of Merit from The IndieFest Film Awards.

Created and written by Cheska Bacaltos, the series prompted a not so conventional twist on living with your ex's.

The series stars Devin Drain, Jordan Mitchell-Love and Samantha Gabrielsen. The first season took audiences on Skye's (Drain) journey as she dealt with living with ex-boyfriend and platonic best friend, Lance (Mitchell-Love) and her sexuality. After a night out with her co-worker Alex (Gabrielsen), Skye finds herself in an identity crisis and she struggles to come to terms with her feelings for Alex.

The series announced their preparation for a second season which will take place six months after Skye and Alex start dating. As luck would have it, Skye is offered a scholarship in London, which she accepts while Alex pretends she's fine with it. "The show is about self discovery, friendship and the thrill and awkwardness of romance," said Bacaltos.

The series is completely independent and self funded by a small production company, Off Color Media. With that in mind, the series has taken to launching an Indiegogo campaign to help fund their second season in which funds will go towards the cast, crew, equipment and more. Keep an eye out from the series for more updates and stay tuned for a Funding Friday feature later this week!
