After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Lullskull Ltd. and A Street Film have announced that production will begin later this month for a four-episode opener to the second season, post-apocalyptic web series, Northbound.
Like the first season, the entire eight-episode second season will also be filmed in Michigan's Upper Peninsula region and exclusively distributed through GeekNation. A series that started out as a proof-of-concept for a feature film Northstar, garnered attention from GeekNation resulting in a six-episode season one. Creators Seth and Nathan Anderson along with producer Jason Hagen are excited to introduce the second season as the storyline directly leads viewers into the premise of the feature film Northstar.
Series regular Nate Alwine returns as Alex, along with his real-life daughters Callie and Addie Alwine who play Crystal, his daughter in the series. Also returning are Mike March and Don Lofholm and joining the series regulars will be local actors Phil Wentz, Kayla Kelly, Kaitlin Paupore and Joe Stevens.
The series is slated to premiere Spring 2017. For more information, stay tuned to Northbound's social media and you can check out a season two trailer now and catch the entire first season exclusively on GeekNation.
