After a successful first season, Chicago-based web series, RideShare is gearing up for a second season.
A Space Camp Production, the second season will feature even more Chicago talent from the likes of Lauren Baker, Elisabeth Del Toro, Chris Fowler and Leah Morrow with Jeff Irlbeck reprising his role as the driver in each episode.
For those unfamiliar with RideShare, the series is a comedic take about a driver for ridesharing app (Uber, Lyft) and the eclective passengers he picks up. The series explores what happens when you open up to a stranger and actually talk to your driver.
Created by Katie Hunter and Irlbeck, the dialoguge on the show is entirely improvised based on stories written by Hunger and Irlbeck in conjunction with co-writer/producer, Ian Michael Smith. Season two is slated to debut this May, keep an eye out for it and check out season one today.
