Recovering from her "nightmare" Casey's adorable as ever making herself a sandwich. Ellia's awkwardly behind her and I think this is her way of communicating that she's checking up on her which is just sweet.
Jac leaves to get some new hard drives and taking everyone by surprise asks Ellia if she needs anything. When Jac leaves Casey suggests that the house must be getting to her and continues to ramble while she eats while Ellia looks at her quite adoringly to be honest. It gets a little deep and Casey admits that she can almost convince herself that the string-haired woman was a dream.
I love Ellia's reaction here because it is so opposite of what Jac would do. Instead of brushing it off or chalking it up to vivid nightmares, she asks Casey to tell her more. Casey recounts the incident in a very detailed manner, from the way the old woman looked aesthetically and how the old woman seemed to make her feel...cold and scared. Her description seemed to do the trick because Ellia looks freaked out as hell.
As if Ellia in the episode couldn't get any better, she asks if Casey thinks it's real and first starts to say what Jac thinks but Ellia cuts her off quickly and so dearly asks her what she thinks and not to everyone's surprise, Casey thinks it's real.
Jac comes back making a corny joke and notices the cozy position in which she finds Ellia and Casey in. Ellia sensing the awkward tension between the best friends excuses herself to get some work done. Jealous Jac is back and not hiding it well at all, but oblivious Casey doesn't see that.
Casey asks her to try (for the umpteenth time) to make an effort but Jac counters with why, which I don't think she's ever done before but Casey just tells her that she should be nicer to Ellia because she asked nicely and because Jac loves her. YES CASEY. JAC. LOVES. YOU. Jac doesn't disagree but instead comes back calling Ellia, Bellatrix Lestrange which is pretty great in my book.
Once again Jac agrees to make a better effort in exchange for Casey's help with getting the rest of the bags out of the car and a back rub. WINK. WINK. NUDGE. NUDGE. Jac's getting a bit more courageous with her flirtations and I'm personally loving it, I just wish Casey could see it too because in the end, we know someone's getting hurt!
